If I was ever in a situation where ya boy got asked to head over to Raccoon City to run some random ass errand, you could catch my ass turning right the fuck around because hell nah, big dawg.
I don’t care how much mula you got. My ass is staying home.
What are they gonna do… fire me? Psh… go ahead. I’m only doing this job to support my gambling habit anyway.
That little tangent right there is exactly how I’d react after seeing the trailer for the new Resident Evil movie.
Let me put you on something, homies…
This trailer looks absolutely fucking firme.
I’m hyped for this shit, and for bueno reasons too.
Primero, we’re finally getting a different type of protagonist.
Instead of another gun-loving badass blasting zombies left and right, we’re following some regular dude who’s just trying to get paid. Resident Evil movies have almost always leaned into the action side of things. The Paul W.S. Anderson movies with Milla Jovovich? I ain’t even gonna lie, I enjoyed those for what they were. Then we got Welcome to Raccoon City, which tried to shove three games into one movie. Did it bite off more than it could chew? For sure. Did I still enjoy it? Meh… it was aight.
And don’t even get me started on that Netflix adaptation…
I’m still crying over that one.
But this movie has a different vibe to it.
If you grew up with the OG Resident Evil games or even played the remakes, you already know the horror always came first. And before one of you fools tries to come at me, I know Resident Evil 5 and 6 leaned way harder into action. Chill, my boy. It ain’t that serious.
I’m talking about…
The creepy sounds.
The silence.
The uneasy feeling.
The praying to the big guys upstairs before opening a damn door because you got no clue what’s waiting on the other side.
That feeling of, “Man… I really don’t wanna go down this hallway.” But you suck it up because you ain’t no bitch.
That’s Resident Evil to me.
And from this trailer, it looks like they’re bringing that feeling back.
Now don’t get me wrong, I would’ve loved to finally see somebody do daddy Leon justice on the big screen.
Buuuut…
I appreciate the direction they’re taking.
Second, making the main character just some regular ass dude trying to make a little extra dough might be the smartest thing they’ve done.
He ain’t a superhero.
He ain’t some elite cop.
He ain’t out here suplexing zombies.
He’s just a dude.
That instantly makes everything feel more dangerous because he doesn’t have unlimited ammo or plot armor. Resources are scarce, and if you’ve played any Resident Evil, then you already know resource management is half the damn game.
And the little Easter eggs?
The typewriter sitting in the safe room.
The Green Heavy Field shotgun shell box making its little cameo.
Those little winksters to the fans… I respect that.
Now, I know it’s just a trailer.
But if they can keep that horror-first vibe all the way through, I think we might finally get the true Resident Evil adaptation I’ve been wanting for years.
Respect to the homie though… he’s got way more cajones than me.
You ain’t catching my ass anywhere near Raccoon City. I’m calling out, turning around, grabbing a drink, getting faded, and letting somebody else handle that bullshit.
Anyways, I appreciate y’all reading my BS.
And as always…
Be easy, OGs. ✌🏽 Peace.

Only a few weeks away from preseason, and I wanted to talk about the Cardinals because... man... this organization is just a fucking mess right now.
Let's start with Exhibit A.
We move on from Kyler. Then we bring in Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew, draft Carson Beck, and still have Kedon Slovis...
...and we still don't even know who's starting.
I just look at that quarterback room and... I can't really say any of these dudes got that dawg in 'em. I don't got a lot of confidence going into this season.
It's hard out here being an Arizona fan. The last couple years have just been rough. We finished last in the division, didn't even make the playoffs, not even the Wild Card.
And as if I needed another kick to the balls... now Ryan Gold gets suspended for violating the NFL's gambling policy after sharing non-public draft information and placing parlay bets.
Look... I got nothing against gambling. Shit, I'm a degenerate gambler from time to time.
What I don't get is... you're working for an NFL team, making six figures. Why risk it? That's the part that blows my mind.
And the NFL already said the integrity of the games and the draft wasn't compromised...
Sure, Susan. Let's go with that.
It feels like every time the Cardinals start getting a little momentum... (very little)... they just go ahead and shit their pants and say it was an accident.
Maybe I'm trippin'. Maybe they come out and prove me wrong.
Maybe I'm just a shit talker.
Either way, I'm still riding with the Cardinals. The good, the bad, the ugly... through and through.
If you're one of those people that jumps from team to team every year... I don't know, man. I question your morality... and probably your commitment in relationships too. 😂
But what do y'all think? Am I being a little dramatic, or does this season already feel a little weird before we've even played a game?
As always, I appreciate y'all reading my BS, OGs.
Be easy, homies. Peace. ✌🏽
Anyone watch the Avengers: Doomsday trailer today and get a little tingly sensation in your no-no areas? No? Just me? Word.
Imma be real with y'all, man. I'm a little nervous about it.
The trailer looks good, don't get me wrong. But I'm just gonna come out and say it. I don't feel as confident as I did when we were going through the Infinity Saga. And honestly... I think that's the Infinity Saga's fault.
With that saga, there was buildup. You wanted to see the next movie because you were waiting for the big one to finally come out. We had damn near ten years of Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Guardians, Spider-Man... all that shit building toward Infinity War and Endgame.
How the hell are you supposed to recreate that?
I just don't think this has that same type of hype anymore.
Now don't get me wrong. After Endgame, there was still some shit that I fucked with. But I think Marvel started pushing way too much, way too fast. Instead of making us miss the next movie, they just kept throwing shit at the wall hoping something stuck. It just didn't work out the way I'm sure they planned it.
...Those greedy bastards.
Now, that doesn't mean the trailer doesn't look good.
It looks dope. I've already watched it twice.
I'm not hating on the movie. I don't know if it's gonna be good. I don't know if it's gonna be bad. I'm not a movie reviewer. Hell, I can't even read.
I'm just trying to chill and watch a good movie.
There was some shit in that trailer where I was like, "Oooh..."
Cyclops showing up in the blue-and-yellow suit? Pants just got a little tighter…….
I'm hoping they bring Wolverine in too. I didn't see anything in the trailer, but a man can dream of a shirtless Wolverine.
You got Mystique with her blue ass kicking people's faces in.
Still... the nerves are real, man.
Like... are we still doing the multiverse?
Because I'm tripping, big dawg. I know Fantastic Four kind of hinted at it when they came into the main universe, and how the ending of season two Loki still played a part of it , but I'm still over here like... "The fuck is happening?"
And then there's the theory that maybe I'm just being selfish.
Maybe I'm just one of those clingy ex-boyfriends that's hanging on to the past.
I'm over here thinking about the Infinity Saga like my ex who left me for the guy she told me not to worry about.
I knew cousins didn't kiss that way.
Anyways... maybe I'm just not giving this a fair chance.
Maybe I'm just being biased because I don't really like some of the direction Marvel's taken lately. We've had a couple floppers.
And yeah... part of that is Robert Downey Jr. coming back as Doctor Doom. I grew up with homie being Iron Man, so that's just gonna be weird for me.
Thor's over here talking about how dangerous this threat is, how catastrophic it's gonna be, and I'm over here like... "Yeah... we're fucked." Because Thor seems to be the only big hitter that can take on Doom, and if he fails, I don’t know who would be the next man (or woman) up.
I'm still gonna go watch it though because I'll spend my money however I want.
I just refuse to call them the Avengers. Ever. Even if there's a fire.
Let's see if this movie eases my nerves.
Marvel... I'm talking to you.
Prove me wrong, big dawg.
Aight, y'all...
What do y'all think?
Are my nerves justified, or am I just being a little bitch about it and need to get over Kendra...
I mean...
The Infinity Saga.
As always, I appreciate y'all reading my BS, man.
Be easy, OGs.
Peace. ✌🏽 -G
It’s been two days since Absolute Green Arrow Issue Three dropped, and I gotta get this off my chestesticles. Fair warning… this shit has spoilers. You had two days, my boy. That’s on you.
This issue pretty much confirmed what I’ve been thinking since Issue Two.
’Cause when Green Arrow was out here killing everybody, I was like, “Aight… they’re just doing a darker take.” On some gangsta-ass shit.
Then Issue Two hit…
Hold up… my Spidey senses are tingling.
This shit got me suspiciously thinking this might not even be Oliver Queen.
Like… I’m talking explosive diarrhea parasite from Taco Bell type of suspicious.
Then Issue Three came out, and nah… now I’m really buying into that conspiracy.
I for sure thought it was gonna be Roy Harper.
Now? Nah.
After seeing what the lil’ homie is actually doing, trying to use the Miraclo machine to bring the big homie back… I don’t buy that shit anymore.
Then they hit us with…
One big zombie-looking motherfucker.
Solomon Grundy.
Who, if you don’t know…
Was born on a Monday…
Now I gotta wait for Issue Four to re-up. I can’t even get a taste.
Yo, but real talk… I’m glad they stretched this out to 12 issues because this shit’s been hitting. I’m catching up on Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Flash next. There’s just too much shit to read right now.
But so far?
Absolute Green Arrow is probably my second favorite.
It’s just so bloody and murdery.
Anyways… if you got spoiled…
That’s kinda on me.
But also… bro, it came out two days ago. That’s on you too. Take some responsibility, my dude.
Y’all fucking with Absolute Green Arrow or nah?
As always, I appreciate y’all reading my BS, OGs.
Be easy. Peace. ✌🏽
Warner Bros... what the fuck, dude?
How are y'all pushing The Batman to February 2028? This is the third damn delay.
And then J.J. Abrams' movie gets the October release date? Come on, man.
So now we're talking about giving his movie the big IMAX rollout? Fuck right off. And fuck J.J. Abrams too... aight, that was a bit much.
But seriously... get your priorities straight.
Now, in all fairness, I can't be too mad. Batman fans have been eating lately. We got Nightfall, the Absolute Batman series, Batman: Caped Crusader, and plenty of comics to hold us over.
That doesn't mean I'm cool with bending over and getting my brown cheeks slapped by Warner Bros.
I've been waiting on this movie forever, and now we gotta wait another two damn years.
I'm impatient enough as it is.
What do y'all think? Am I overreacting, or are Batman fans justified in being this frustrated?
I'm hyped about this if it's true. I actually fuck with the Blue Beetle movie. I feel like people gave that movie way too much shit. I thought it was fun, and Xolo was a solid Jaime Reyes.
When Blue Beetle dropped, my mind instantly went...
Teen Titans?
Cause now we got Jaime Reyes...
We're getting Damian Wayne... (hopefully.)
I'm sitting here like... bro, they can low-key start setting up the Teen Titans.
When James Gunn first started announcing all the DCU stuff, I remember hearing about The Brave and the Bold, then he said Blue Beetle was sticking around. I mean, Jaime started with the Teen Titans before he ended up in the Justice League, so I'm over here like...
"Bro... don't tease me like that."
The fanboy in me is getting too hyped right now. I need to chill.
But I'm glad they kept Xolo. I never thought he was the problem. Dude fit Jaime.
Now, how much he's actually gonna be in Man of Tomorrow? Fuck if I know. Could be five minutes. Could be way more. I can't see the future. I just want my Teen Titans dream to come true.
What do y'all think? Am I reaching, or are y'all seeing the same thing?
As always, I appreciate y'all reading my take. Be easy, OGs. Peace. ✌🏽
I’m a dreamer, man.
Some people dream about money. Some people dream about cars. A big house. Some people dream about getting women... or men. No judgment here. Do you, boo.
Me?
I’ve always dreamed of seeing Batman fight the Court of Owls in a live-action movie.
That's right.
Shit... I got big dreams.
And that dream might actually come true.
Why?
Well, there's a rumor going around that the Court of Owls might be the main villains in The Batman Part II.
And we all know the internet is always a source of truth.
But... just in case...
Nothing is confirmed.
This is all speculation. It's the internet. It once told me there was a single mom in my area waiting to meet me. To this day, I still don't know if she was ever real.
I've also seen people saying Scarlett Johansson might be playing Poison Ivy.
Which...
I mean...
She does have a big...
...personality.
Plus, we've seen her as a redhead before, so I think she could pull it off.
But back to the Court...
If they actually end up being in this movie...
Bro, I think this changes Batman for a lot of people.
Cause he ain't just fighting another villain anymore.
He's going up against a corrupt society that's been running Gotham for centuries.
That's a whole different story.
Anyways, that's all I got for y'all.
Appreciate y'all reading, OGs.
Let me know what y'all think. Do y'all think the Court of Owls is making an appearance, or is this whole thing just another internet rumor?
Alright...
Be easy, guys.
Peace.
Final score? 81-79.
But honestly, the score wasn't the biggest thing I took away from this game.
The first half was rough. We only put up 24 points, the offense had no rhythm, the bigs weren't getting fed, and it felt like everybody was trying to earn a roster spot instead of playing team basketball. Seventeen turnovers is still 17 turnovers, and the shot selection wasn't doing anybody any favors.
Now, I get it. It's Summer League. Everybody's trying to impress the organization, earn a contract, and prove they belong. I understand that. But you still gotta play within the team if you wanna stand out.
Then the second half happened.
Whoever chewed their ass out in that locker room... it worked.
The defense picked up, they forced turnovers, got out in transition, and finally started playing through Khaman Maluach and Koa Peat. Once those two became the focal point, the offense just flowed.
Maluach finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and three made threes. Koa Peat gave us 17 points and 9 boards, attacking the rim like he had something to prove. Javonte Cook led the way with 21 points, and Rashir Fleming kept impacting the game even when his shot wasn't falling by crashing the glass and playing hard on defense.
I'm not sitting here saying these dudes are about to change the franchise overnight.
But I do think Phoenix might've found some dawgs.
That's my take. Am I reading too much into one Summer League game, or did y'all see the same thing?
Be easy, OGs. Peace.
